Re: Wilink8 KRACK Fix [ANSWERED]

TI created R8.7_SP3 tags with the KRACK fixes applied, if anyone is interested. I tried it out, and it seemed fine.

Re: Wilink8 KRACK Fix [ANSWERED]

Great, thanks. Do you have an idea of timeframe? Will we not see it until the next NXP release?

Wilink8 KRACK Fix [ANSWERED]

TI has released some wilink8 patches to address the KRACK vulnerability. Can we get some help from Variscite to get that integrated into the Yocto recipes?

Re: System hangs at reboot [SOLVED]

We see something similar with a i.mx6q. Using a custom carrier board as well, but it performs fine otherwise, even under heavy load, so I doubt a power supply issue. If we put strace in from of killall5 in sendsigs init script, we see it locks up with: rt_sigaction(SIGTERM, {SIG_IGN, [TERM], SA_REST...

Re: Intermittent startup issue with WL1837MOD on DART

Hi Aviad, It's a yocto/poky based image. We're booting off an sd card on our custom board. The kernel is yours with a few extra custom drivers. I don't think we've really touched u-boot beyond a few changes to customize the default environment variables. We have a init script that runs at boot which...

Intermittent startup issue with WL1837MOD on DART

We're using a Variscite i.mx6 DART with WL1837MOD module, running a 4.1.15 kernel with the following software versions: wlcore: wl18xx HW: 183x or 180x, PG 2.2 (ROM 0x11) wlcore: driver version: R8.6_SP1 wlcore: PHY firmware version: Rev 8.2.0.0.233 wlcore: firmware booted (Rev 8.9.0.1.55) Our probl...

RFKILL support [ANSWERED]

I'm interested in getting rfkill to work so that I can easily disable all transmissions from the dual-band wilink8 radio. Has someone already done this?

I enabled rfkill in the kernel config, and busybox is providing rfkill command, but it doesn't seem to list any interfaces.

Re: Jethro build works on VAR-SOM, but not on DART

I dunno if something changed in the uboot default pin configurations, or whatever, but in imx6q-var-dart.dtb, the usdhc2 entry has a line which reads: cd-gpios = <&gpio1 6 0>; (this is the same as in the fido release) But, to boot correctly, I needed to change it to: cd-gpios = <&gpio1 6 GPI...

Jethro build works on VAR-SOM, but not on DART

I reported last week that I couldn't get my jethro based image to boot off an sdcard on a DART-MX6. It hangs with "Waiting for root device /dev/mmcblk1p2..." New information is that I tried this same card on a VAR-SOM-MX6, and it boots up fine. I'm building this card using the instructions...
