Re: Define J2.73 as PWM for backlight

We got it working. ;) My colleague had some good ideas to try. If anyone else is interested in this, we had to change two device tree files. First we had to define the clocks for PWM8 in 'imx6ul.dtsi' pwm8: pwm@020fc000 { compatible = "fsl,imx6ul-pwm", "fsl,imx27-pwm"; reg = <0x0...

Define J2.73 as PWM for backlight [SOLVED]

Hello again,
I want to define pin J2.73 SAI2_TX_DATA on our custom carrier board as pwm signal for display backlight. How should I define this in the devie tree? Currently it's used by 'sai2grp' and I don't have a clue how to achive this... Thanks again for your help.

No UBI Image build with krogoth? [SOLVED]

It's me again... I tried to build core-image-minimal and core-image-base but somehow no ubifs-image gets built. I took a look at the config files but, ubi is in the list of IMAGE_FSTYPES but I only get ext4, sdcard and tar.bz2. This is again something I can't solve myself. :(

Re: krogoth + php-fpm: wrong libmysqlclient?

I did so much research that day, I must've been blind. Please excuse that :D But I'm thankful that you'll add the fix to your krogoth build. :)

€dit: Tried it out, works as it should. :)

krogoth + php-fpm: wrong libmysqlclient?[SOLVED]

I'm trying to build core-image-minimal (build-fb) with php-fpm included. It gets build and deployed to the image. But when I'm trying to start 'systemctl start php-fpm' it doesn't work. I get the following error: 'symbol mysql_server_init, version libmysqlclient_16 not defined in file libmysqlclient...

Re: bootscreen/splashscreen with systemd

Ok, my mistake. I don't want FANCY animation stuff, a simple progress bar would be perfectly fine. But psplash doesn't work together with systemd (or with the framebuffer image?). If I activate systemd and build the build_fb core-image-minimal, I just see the penguin, not the Variscite animation. I ...

Re: bootscreen/splashscreen with systemd [ANSWERED]

Thanks, I know that it is possible to change the penguin, but I mean an animated spalshscreen with plymouth or dietsplash. The older variscite fido distribution had an animated splashcreen. This is what I want to achieve.

Re: Use systemd

This works fine for me, but when I use systemd, I'm not able to enable php-fpm as a service. update-rc.d is missing, I've added it in my local.conf with "IMAGE_INSTALL_append =", it builds fine but doesn't get added to the image. But why does the php-fpm.service depend on update-rc.d even ...
