Re: Default GPIO Direction and Stat on boot

Hi,
You can set the default value without changing the uboot
by adding an init script where the default value is defined and add it to the initscripts in your build file system
please look the updated wiki section 3.3: http://variwiki.com/index.php?title=VAR-SOM-MX6_GPIO

Re: Default GPIO Direction and Stat on boot

Hi,
you don't need to make a new node.
add your GPIO according to this:

Re: CustomBoard UART design

Hi,
If your GPIO output is pulled high then yes, if it is high-z/pulled low then no.
Also, make sure CTS,RX,TX lines don't push in voltage before processor is up.

Re: CustomBoard UART design

Hi,
Yes they can be used as GPIOs.
The buffer's purpose is to avoid IO voltage being pushed to the processor before it is up
in particular UART3_RTS which is part of boot strap setting and has a 10k Pull down on SOM.
Please ensure this in your design if you don't plan to use the buffer.

Re: Fitting prototype Custom board the three low profile connectors?

Hi, Yes It is possible to place them manually. For fastening the module you can use M1-0.25 screws and nuts such as these: http://www.metricscrews.us/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=98_206&products_id=365 http://www.newstarfastenings.com/Hexagon_Full_Nuts_DIN_934~p~1204217068.htm alte...

Hi, Please follow instructions in wiki. first type: 'editenv mmcargs' then you will get this line: edit: setenv bootargs console=${console},${baudrate} ${smp} video=mxcfb1:off root=${mmcroot} now add a space followed by this to the end of previous line: video=mxcfb0:dev=hdmi,1920x1080M@60,if=RGB24 s...

Re: Are these connectors modelled at mated height?

Hi,
1.The heights measured are correct.
2.The connectors on print side are not modelled at mated height. The stacked height (header+receptacle) is 1.5mm
