Re: Changing Location of SD card detect pin

Hi John.
You have a typo in the device tree:
MX6QDL_PAD_GPIO9__GPIO1_IO09
should be:
MX6QDL_PAD_GPIO_9__GPIO1_IO09

Re: UBIFS failure on many modules

Hi Peter. Which of our kernel commits are you based on? I recommend using the latest one of the branch you are using. This is the branch for Yocto Fido: https://github.com/varigit/linux-2.6-imx/commits/imx_3.14.38_6qp_ga_var01 We updated the GPMI NAND driver back in March - it may resolve your issue...

Re: Boot from SD Card with modified u-boot [ANSWERED]

You can either modify the device tree or add an mtdparts parameter to the bootargs in U-Boot.
For example:
setenv mmcargs ${mmcargs} mtdparts=gpmi-nand:2m(spl),2m(uboot),2m(uboot-env),250m(os1),250m(os2),-(settings)

Re: Boot from SD Card with modified u-boot [ANSWERED]

The .sdcard file does not contain our recovery scripts and icons. The "extended SD card" script doesn't use the .sdcard file - it creates the SD card directly using the U-Boot, kernel, filesystem images, etc. The differences are explained here: http://www.variwiki.com/index.php?title=VAR-S...

Re: Boot from SD Card with modified u-boot

Hi brendan. Please follow the following instructions: Create an extended SD card But before running the var-create-yocto-sdcard.sh script, replace all of the SPL and U-Boot images (two SPL images and two U-Boot images, one of each for SD card and one for NAND flash) under build/tmp/deploy/images/var...

Re: Accessing GPIO in imx6

Hi. This gpio is taken by the fec driver, so you can't export it. What are you trying to do exactly? If for some reason you want to control it manually instead of letting the driver do it, you should change the fec's phy-reset-gpios value in your device tree (imx6qdl-var-dart.dtsi, if you are using ...
