Re: Embedded dtb to linux

Hi Kirill. I'm not sure why you would want to do that. Anyway, following are the correct steps: - Enable CONFIG_ARM_APPENDED_DTB and CONFIG_ARM_ATAG_DTB_COMPAT in the kernel configuration - make zImage - make imx6q-var-dart.dtb - cat arch/arm/boot/dts/imx6q-var-dart.dtb >> arch/arm/boot/zImage - mak...

Re: in Jethro 4.1.15.1.1.0 gpmi removed from device tree?

In Jethro we also defined the SD card detect in U-Boot. To disable the card detect, change the board_mmc_getcd function to always return 1. (You can also remove all occurrences of usdhc2_cd_pad and usdhc2_cd_gpio). Is this what you did in your patch? It looks like you have another issue though, if y...

Re: in Jethro 4.1.15.1.1.0 gpmi removed from device tree?

Just a guess/tip: The default U-Boot environment has changed in the our 4.1.15 branch. If you manually upgrade U-Boot, and you have an old environment saved, you need to reset your environment to the new default (in the U-Boot command line, run: env default -a && saveenv). There is no need t...

Hi Carl.

There is no NAND Flash on DART-MX6.

Re: linux-4.1.15: available only one MMC-card

Then you are not using the correct kernel and device tree.
Please follow the instructions in the Wiki links in my previous reply.

Re: linux-4.1.15: available only one MMC-card

So is it okay now, or are you saying that you only have /dev/mmcblk2 even though you are running from SD card? Are you using our Yocto Jethro release? - linux-4.1.15 configuration based on arch/arm/configs/imx_v7_defconfig You should use our kernel with imx_v7_var_defconfig (and imx6q-var-dart.dtb)....

Re: linux-4.1.15: available only one MMC-card

Oren probably didn't notice you are talking about DART-MX6.

On DART-MX6:
mmc0 is for wifi
mmc1 is SD card
mmc2 is eMMC (which DART-MX6 always has)

/dev/mmcblk1 should be shown only when an SD card is attached (and I'm guessing it wasn't in your case)

Re: U-Boot script env variable missing

I know setenv works fine, but I need something more permanent Just to make sure it is clear: you can use the saveenv command to save the env. variables to storage. I'm having some trouble updating U-Boot... No need to pull meta-variscite for this update. Did you run "bitbake -c cleanall u-boot...

Re: U-Boot script env variable missing

Hi Jay. I've added 'script=boot.scr' to the default env. on our git. Please pull U-Boot and build it again. By the way: - You can set U-Boot environment variables by using the setenv command in the U-Boot command line interface. - You can modify the default U-Boot environment variables by editing th...
