Re: i.MX6/i.MX7: recommended gpmi-nand driver update due to the latest NXP bug fixes

Android is installed on the eMMC (or SD card), and not on the NAND flash, so it is not affected.

Re: Yocto DART-6UL Toolchain Installation Errors

Hi Rsh.
Looks like you set /opt/yocto_downloads to be your downloads directory, but you didn't give it write permissions for your user.

Are you sure the FT5x06 driver supports the FT5x26 chip?

Re: want to build extended SD card using fsl-image-qt5, missing .ubi file

From your descriptions I understand that you are not using the latest meta-variscite. Anyway, if the ubi image is not created add the following line to the conf/local.conf file under your build directory to attempt to create it: IMAGE_FSTYPES_var-som-mx6 = "tar.bz2 ext4 sdcard ubi" However...

Re: Unable to install USB OTG g-serial kernel module

- Compile and install the g_multi module (Use menuconfig or just add CONFIG_USB_G_MULTI=m to the defconfig).
- Run: modprobe g_multi file=MASS_STORAGE_DEV

Re: Unable to install USB OTG g-serial kernel module

Hi Brendan.
Did you try running dmesg to get more info, as the error message suggests?

"modprobe g-serial" works for me with our recovery SD card v70 on VAR-SOLOCustomBoard.
Can you try with the same SD card?

Re: Determine which WL18xx is installed at runtime?

Unfortunately, there is no way to identify this directly. However, I can provide a short script that reads the SOM part number from the EEPROM on the SOM, and you can deduce the WL18xx version from it. Note that writing to this EEPROM will brick your SOM! For the script, please open a ticket in our ...
