Re: Strange error loading brcmfmac on yocto krogoth

That's because of a later commit: https://github.com/varigit/linux-2.6-im ... df31b68864
That's how it should be - just make sure you are using the latest commit.

Do you still get the error when using the latest commit?

Re: Strange error loading brcmfmac on yocto krogoth

Hi Pedro.
Here is the relevant commit in the imx-rel_imx_4.1.15_2.0.0_ga-var01 branch:
https://github.com/varigit/linux-2.6-im ... 295543ccae

I suggest using the latest commit in imx-rel_imx_4.1.15_2.0.0_ga-var01.

Eran

Re: Error after kernel update

Thanks for the notice.
Actually, I've just removed the "additional packages" section from this page, as it is a bad idea to have it duplicated at two different places.

Re: How to Configure to parallel RGB Display? [ANSWERED]

Hi Jake. It is located in the 4.1.15 kernel code under arch/arm/boot/dts/, just as written in the Wiki. Here: https://github.com/varigit/linux-2.6-imx/blob/m6.0.1_2.1.0-ga-var01/arch/arm/boot/dts/imx6qdl-var-solocb-dt6cb-displays.dtsi Since you didn't find it, I guess you are using an older version ...

Re: Power reduction for VAR-SOM-DUAL boards

Hi Andrew.
You can try to disable the drivers in the device tree.

Re: Initialise eMMC partitions prior to first boot in Yocto

You can run the scrpit from the SD card, right before/after you flash the NAND.

Re: Initialise eMMC partitions prior to first boot in Yocto

So you are booting from an SD card, in order to write the NAND?

Re: Build dependency confusion

Hi.
You can do all of the kernel changes with Yocto or with the kernel source directly.

* When modifying c files you need to rebuild the uImage.
* When modifying dts/dtsi files you need to rebuild the dtb.
* When modifying the config file you need to rebuild the uImage.

What method are you using to flash the NAND?
