Yocto And OpenCV Problems !!! [SOLVED]

Postby ingeln991 » Wed May 03, 2017 2:41 pm

Hello EveryOne !!! I'm Andrea.

i'm trying to build an opencv application with yocto (var-som-dual-imx6).

I'v followed the steps indicated here http://www.engcore.com/2014/02/building ... bsp-yocto/

then, i've tried to build an application givi'n the source code (*.cpp), but when i compile the project with the command $CXX test.cpp -o test

the compiler says to me " undefined reference to cvLoadImage " (...that is the first instruction of the code )...i have this problems since a month and i need to fix it form my work...

Hi Andrea,
as far as I can see from your command line, you are missing the link of opencv libraries (-l<needed_library>).
This is causing the linker to complain...

Thank You for the answer varigigi !!!! Yes i'v tried this solution yesterday and works fine, the project has been compiled :) :)

but now there is another problem....when i buold the sd.card and mount it on the board, when i run the application, i can see this two errors :

VIDEOIO ERROR : libv4l unable to ioctl S_FMT:
VIDEOIO ERROR : libv4l unable to ioctl VIDIOCSPICT

( the opencv cv code is a simple camera acquisition....)
