pad control registers starting 0x4 or 0x8.

I'm misunderstanding something in the dtsi file.

Currently it is:
pinctrl_i2c3_3: i2c3grp {
fsl,pins = <
MX6QDL_PAD_GPIO_5__I2C3_SCL 0x4001b8b1
MX6QDL_PAD_GPIO_16__I2C3_SDA 0x4001b8b1
>;
};

What is the 0x4001b8b1 ? I understand the 1b8b1 part but the documentation does not tell me about pad control registers starting 0x4 or 0x8.

Please enlighten me and point to the documentation.

Hi,
The value 0x8 means: pad already configured, e.g. by the boot loader
the value 0x4 (bit 30 set) means: software input on (SION) which means that the logical value of an output can be read back.
